Fountain Inn Repertory Experience (F.I.R.E.) is the resident theatre company at the Fountain Inn Civic Center! With a wide array of musicals and comedies, something is sure to pique your interests! Come out and let us light your F.I.R.E.!



Mission & Purpose 

Our Mission at The Fountain Inn Repertory Experience (F.I.R.E.) is to operate as  a non-profit Theatre located and operating in Fountain Inn, SC. We aim to focus on the study, performance, production, and education of Theatre to the members of our repertory companies and the community of the Upstate of South Carolina. We will also place an emphasis on the role Theatre has played and continues to play in our culture and tradition. All of this will be done through high-quality productions of Broadway and off-Broadway pieces to be sure that our artists and community members will participate in a learning experience that enhances their lives.

All productions will take place at our home theatre: The Fountain Inn Center for Visual & Performing Arts located at 315 North Main Street in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.

Available Programming & Goals:

F.I.R.E. is the Adult Rep. Company: To utilize and advance the experience and knowledge of artists aged 18+ in the art of musical Theatre. These members are considered leaders, role models, and eager students ready to aid other company members and help provide a professional atmosphere for FIRE.

wildF.I.R.E. is the Teen Rep. Company: To provide an artistic environment for those ages 13-17 (or of High School age) to learn, expand, and perfect their skills in the art of musical Theatre.

F.I.R.E.fly is the Youth Rep. Company: To provide a creative learning environment for children ages 6-12 to express themselves, through the art of  musical Theatre. F.I.R.E. aims to ignite creativity and a passion of Theatre in the members of ‘Firefly’ through educational programs such as summer camps and involvement in a number of productions throughout the season.

spitF.I.R.E. is the Senior Rep. Company:  To provide an environment for seniors to experience and advance their knowledge of theatre.

underF.I.R.E. is the non-musical Adult Rep. Company:  To provide an environment for adults to experience and advance their knowledge of theatre.

FIRE aims to also provide a collaborative environment in which members of all companies can work closely together to educate and influence each other.

Rehearsal Schedule

Typically Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:00 pm and Sundays from 2:00 - 5:00 pm

Auditions

Open call for new members will be held on March 19 and 21 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM.  All interested auditionees must schedule and appointment by completing the form below.  The slate of shows for next season will be announced in February.  F.I.R.E. Resident companies auditions are held once per year and casting is done for the entire season. 

Returning member invitations and interviews will be held in April.  Those dates and times will be available in February.
